Checking in from a few hard, tiring, sad, angry, depressing, sinking, days like no one will ever know. In all the bad we/I saw there is still good in this world. It has taken me a while to shake it off and I honestly do not think it will ever go away.

There are monsters that walk among us. There are people who take on those monsters that cause us fear, death and injury. The last time I ran these thoughts of losing was 2007. I thought I would never ever feel it much worse, I was wrong. Boy was I ever wrong.

Be thankful for who you have more so loved ones, you may never have a second chance. If you take it for granted in a instant they may be gone. Don't let incidents like these change you. The world will go on for some it may be better for others not so much. Hug those you love and maybe be a better person in the end. Reality sometimes hits us harder then one can imagine.

Rise above and keep going. I have never seen Odessa come together the way they have. I am not a believer in time heals all wounds. I am a believer it will get better but one will never heal we will just patch it and go on.
