Price of ammo just went up, Walmart prices have kept other dealers selling at less profit margin.

I appreciate the sentiment of a boycott, but I doubt that threat has teeth that matter.

Wal-Mart is the largest company in the world in terms of revenue, the largest employer in the world, and the largest grocery retailer in the US. If they were a nation their GDP would be in the top 25 globally.

Do you really think they are concerned about a boycott you want to start? That's a rhetorical question; the answer is no.

Demographics are destiny. Guns are going away more and more. Walmart et al know this is no big deal to their bottom line

I wonder if they will put it on clearance or just pull it from the shelf’s? I don’t know when the last time I bought ammo at Walmart. However, if they put it on clearance at a good price I’m in.

I’m a regular only because of the decent price on Federal 9mm 200 round pack.
Would usually buy something else while there but nothing I can’t get easily
elsewhere so my money spent there will be much less.

I won’t say boycott because if I need something there I’ll go there.

If you're buying guns and ammo from WalMart you're doing it wrong.

The manager here called me this morning and said Walmart will stop selling all handgun ammo and all .223/5.56 ammo. No mention of 7.62x39 but that will probably be next if not included in this round.

Id imagine they will pull it all instead of discounting it.

They'll probably send it back to the vendors for credit or donate it to the local police dept. Could be a bad PR move to mark it down for clearance sale.

If they should discount it, you want to be sure and get there before the guy who buys every box so he can flip it. Seen it happen more than once.
