Do this.... Any Mossberg Model 500 or Model 88 long barrel in modified or improved choke would work fine for dove. They can be found cheap at gun shows or on gunbroker dot com. Take 30 seconds to swap out.

Welcome !!

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.

ill look into swapping a barrel.
also been looking into a Stoeger m3000 for the semi auto feature. idk still researching again never hunted but want to get into something other than just fishing. I am fortunate that I have overtime at work and dont mind spending some money up front (not a lot) so I dont need to upgrade so soon.

If I had a dove on my place, you could shoot a few here. But...I don’t know where they went, but they went

lol I know the feeling, there's some public land by taylor not to far from me. I line in round rock but work in Bastrop and I take CR1660 and ill drive by groups of people hunting doves and be like man I want to try that. Im sure its all private land im assuming and someone leasing it out, how does one find out more info on place like that? should I just pull over and ask? I saw a guy latterly on the side of road of the field waiting for doves.
