Fellas,
Have any of you used the gen III Level 6 gortex? Is it better than the gortex supplied by the US Army in early 90s?

Yes, but still needs to be washed appropriately to maintain breath ability. All gore Tex or a like are only as good as the water repellent(DWR) on the outer fabric, so you will need to reapply. It’s a spray on so it’s easy
