Congratulations to those who had a good day. I'm envious and have questions.

I know Eastland county is not known for overwhelming flocks of dove, but I have usually seen enough to get half of my limiit.
Opening day sucked like a black hole. Three of us got a total of two shots - and it was at the same bird.
My lease has about 75 acres of sunflowers, two ponds, and is surrounded by trees.
What more do dove want? What can I do to satisfy them?
I heard shooting on the adjoining properties, so something was flying.
Any suggestions before I put away my Mojos and wait for deer?
Thanks!

Were in a consecutive year of horrible local dove hatch. The feed is here but not the birds. Wait for the north birds to get here.

I agree, the GW told me there are pockets of birds but most folks don't have many. The hatch this year was better than last, problem was, there weren't many mature bird to make a numbers hatch this year.
