Some sausage you had made by someone else, or did you lose a bandaid while making sausage?

Did it come with an end to a finger?

This would be my concern. What was connected to that bandaid that might be in the sausage? roflmao

I understand that some don't have time to do their own but these are the stories that make doing it myself worth the time.
My dad and I took 2 into a place in Bronte years ago. We only did basic processing with a little breakfast sausage. The sausage was rancid and all of the ground meat and sausage had so much hair in it it looked it was ground with the hide on.
I've seen guys towing their 4wheeler trailers with their deer laying on the back catching road grime.

I agree Bill. Pork is to cheap to slaughter one, especially a wild one.

A conservational effort isn't always cheap or easy.

I was thinking more along the lines of females, and not males.

if I can smell it when I walk up on it, it goes to the coyotes ... growing up, we killed literally hundreds, if not thousands of feral hogs that the area ranches called us to come take care of the problem, my dad wasted nothing and we could tell while dressing them out whether they were going to roasts or straight to overly spiced sausage by the smell, we marked the packages

Some are great some aren't. I don't doubt for a second that it would cost more to take a hog to the processor than the meat you would get from it, but then again ive never taken one to a processor. It costs me nothing more than sharpening a knife and a little time to process the critters I shoot and the time is worth it because I enjoy what im doing.

I don't wanna give a hog the pleasure of thinking I enjoyed anything about them. Hate em with a passion!
