Looking for feedback on the remote. The one that works along side of the timer. Concerned about deer/ axis/ coons messing up the antenna. Also is the range estimate is right. Thanks in advance

I'm 70 yards from my feeder, works fine. As for the other comment... Mine is behind the varmint cage, so no worries there. The antenna is hard plastic, I don't know that I would worry about that.

I have them on All Season stand and fill feeders and hogs broke both hard antennas. Talked to All Seasons and they hooked me up with a guy that got me replacement ones with the hard plastic stripped off and have not had a problem since.
Love them and they work great, one is 94 yards and the other is 110 yards.

I’ve used them in the past with success but the one I have and have had replaced I can’t get to work with my stand and fill. I finally gave up. Pretty sure it is just operator error but idk. When they work they are awesome.

One at 80 yards no issue
One at 220 no issue

Both get electrolysis or oxidation and we are needing a complete rebuild of wiring in one. Then work great when all is good.

One at 110 yards, works great as advertised. Put some dialetic grease, (any autoparts store), on terminal when you hook it up, stops corrosion from electrolysis.

I have one at 98, one at 168, one at 174 and another at 129...they all work every time the button is pushed. I mounted each antenna as instructed - pointed directly DOWN. When using the hand-held remote, hold the unit with the antenna pointed directly UP (do not point it at the unit tlike a TV remote). Can't regurgitate the technical explnation I was provided, but apparently the down and up orientations significantly enhance the radio wave effectiveness and remote performance...have never felt the need to challenge the manufacturers advice.
