ELR or ELF? (extreme luck factor) Seriously though, that's pretty badazz for cold bore. I wonder if he'd ever shot at that location before?
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

All he needs now is a Vortex scope in MOA. I can already hear the veins in Jason's forehead about to pop.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.

Kinda makes the extractor/ejector moot. Especially since you can upgrade both for like $30 all in. But I bet someone will beat it with another rifle before too long. I just hope it ain't a Tikka

And he wasn't shooting a Creedmoor, nor a Tikka?

Waiting patiently for Fireman to comment. I am pretty sure he's working on a Tikka build in 28 nosler with some of those 195 Berger handloads dialed in at 2159 yards just to take this away from us

Sako does though. Hmmm...

Not only did the guy use a Savage, he didn't even have the decency to put a Bartlein barrel on it. He shot it with the factory barrel. Man, what is this world coming to???

Sako does though. Hmmm... Tikka is not the best action to build for long action mag cartridges. The feed ramp handcuffs your O.A.L However, I have a friend's 28 Nosler to develop a load for. And, I have a Rem 700 action, as well as a barrel in wait to build into a 30 Nosler. It is a 1:8 twist. I already have 225 ELD-M for it, and will get some 250 gr A-tips. The 28, and both 30 Nosler loads will be tested to 2000 yards, and we will see what we see. That distance, I would use a Chey Tac or .416 Barrett. And, I'm not understanding the record. "The King of Two Miles" match has happened for a few years now, at the Whittington Center. Two miles is 3520 yards. I'll build a rifle to compete in it maybe next year. A friend of mine shoots it, with a .375 Chey Tac, and he said the .416 Barrett is a better option. That requires a .50 BMG action, though. And when I do build one, it will not be a repeater, just a single shot rifle. Flight time is so long, you can eject the round, and top load another before the shot arrives.

Yea but it had a different trigger and was painted so it's "custom". I heard he was using Remington green &yellow box Core-lokts too.
Seriously though that is pretty awesome!

My buddy was shooting his Savage LR in 300 WM and we played with it at a mile with the 230 Berger's. It did ok. It was a tuned load.
