I’ll have to see if ours are dropping. It seems that we finally have a good crop of white oak acorns. It’s been several years since the last good crop.

Heat/drought have them coming off early, the trees can’t afford to finish them all on limited resources.

My trees are loaded here in Palo Pinto county, but have not noticed any dropping yet.

That explains why our resident buck was under one of the white oak trees this morning. It looked like he was eating acorns but I was thinking it was a little early. Hope their not gone by Oct 1.

Very few and what there are, here in north Grayson county are very small. Where we hunt in north east red river county, land owner saying there are none at all.
My Yote toys, Ruger 77 22-250 Foxpro 416B & numerous hand calls ************ God would never send Firefighters to Hell because we would put the fire out!

Haven't seen any drop here yet, quite a few small ones on trees this year tho
