Woke up to several real good thunder storms then a big one hit with winds in the 70-80 mph range. I saw the sun screen on the pens bow up and stay there as a young tree next to it bent at a 50-60 degree angle. Ran to get the phone and when I got back to the windows the pens were gone and both dogs on the patio. Oddly enough with Hank trying to mount Sugar which would have been very bad. Both dogs are OK and I am waiting for the crew that mows the yard next door to show up and try and piece together what isn't bent to bad. Knocked all the ornamental stuff off two sections of wrought iron fence and bent the gate so it wont close. Those panels were cooking when they went over the fence. If dogs were in their houses they got on hell of a ride to end up fine.

Clean as a whistle.

Sonofagun Chet! That's awful. Sorry to see that. You had some really nice pens. Glad the dogs are okay and no accidental breeding took place.

Believe it or not had 2 3 foot stakes at opposite corners of the pens, wind broke one off 2 inches down and tore the other one out of the ground. In the pics you can make out the pasture fence behind me, just found one panel in the pasture. Bad arse wind.

Love to have the rain without the wind. Good luck.

Well got three pens back up, two usable. Beauty of Prefiert panels is putting them up or back together. After all the crap I think I have to replace 2 gates and good to go. Need the forth pen to get the sun screen back up so may be a little warm for the boys till I get it all together. Guys that helped gather and put them back up are going to come back when I get the gates and sink some steel in cement to anchor it so wont be going anywhere next time. I'm betting I never see that kind of wind again.

Good job. Maybe the rain and cloud cover will keep it cooler for them the next few days.

Lying is lying. Don't bitch about one doing it and condone another. That's called hypocrisy.

I'd say this is an amazing ad for whatever kind of dog houses those are! Glad the pups are fine.

Arandy, my houses face SE so the NW wind cant get in the houses when it's cold. This wind was from the SE and with the speed rain was coming side ways and into the front of the kennel so I believe they must have been in their houses when it lifted. They either jumped out when it started to move and the whole pen raise over them or they had one hell of a trip to where the houses ended up. They are perfect so I'm betting on the jumped out when the crap hit the fan.

Bobby when I first saw them they were horse assing on the patio with Hank trying to do the dirty bop. So what ever they went through it didn't bother them for long. Thought they might shy at the houses after that but when we got the remains put together they went right in.
