all you need are birds and beers One way or the other, I will definitely have one of those two. I predict it'll either be really hot or so muddy your dogs can't keep the mud clods out their toes. Maybe both?

I'm close enough to the 1st to make my prediction.
Cold front and rain about the 20th of August followed by hot/dry weather. Whether that will result in more birds or less I don't know. It's just what my bones are telling me. Well. Guess I missed this one. I was pretty sure there would be a cold front before the opener this year.
No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

Anything under 100 degrees and without thunderstorms would be great. And if it don't rain at all between now and opening week, that would be even better. So many sunflowers everywhere in Young county, it may take water to concentrate enough of them to one place to hunt them from.

40 degree lows, 66 highs where I'll be hunting on Sept 3rd. Cordoba Weather Forecast ...we'll be thinking about you folks sweating here in TX.

It was 77 by the time I got to Weatherford, and raining.
