Used to be a really good gunsmith at Canyon Lake, but I bet he retired. I googled and could not find a name that rang a bell. I can't think if his name but he was good. If I recall he had a shop in Houston and moved to Canyon lake, but that was quite a few years back. I just remember he was good and I spoke with in on the phone a time or two.
Maybe someone else will remember if he is still in business, whatever his name it LOL!!!

Somebody dig up a guy in Bastrop who go's be the handle "Kaywoodie" . He used to work for lots of years at McBride's in Austin. I'll be he could come up with a name from that part of of the world. Too bad my old road buddy and best friend/competitor Dudly Grounds has since passed. He wound up living at Inks Lake in his final years and knew everybody it seemed like from his 22 years repping Weatherby. Oh who was the guy who made game calls in Marble Falls, he'd know somebody.
