I remember working at the Salt Creek plant in Snyder 1995. I spent 2 weeks climbing vessels in 115F heat 12 hours a day working on relief valves. That field trip made me decide I wanted to be a salesman.

Heck, I had to stop teaching tennis early today and sit in the shade a while. The kids and I were both a bit wobbly. Super hot and not a breath of wind. Is it Fall yet?

I think you meant the summer of 1980. Yeah I am pretty sure that is what he meant. Working in a precast concrete plant in Fort Worth building out a number of the buildings in Los Colinas. DAMN IT WAS HOT!!

2011 wasn't exactly a walk in the park either. Heck no it wasn't. There was a week there in Breckenridge where I was working at where it made it over 110° for a week straight.
