Bill some people have a greater need. Bet mine have been used 10 times in the last month. I probably have as many as you chickenman but they’re all wadded up in the bed of my truck.

I lied. I have three. I drive the Gator over the wheel wells, lock down my hand break, and ratchet the front end down on each side. That's two. I use the third to make a tailgate with the ramps. I don't trust the ratchets on my dog box. I bolt it on both sides.

I easily have 50 of them between my work truck, personal truck, and shop....I use them regularly....

I try to follow the rule...Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.....

Nothing pizzes me off more needing a tool or something the I have in my shop and can't get to it..... realmad

I’ve got a bag full of them and the elastic things with hooks that I can’t think of the name of right now. They were a Christmas present a few years ago and I use them way more than I thought I would.

We call them bungie cords in the country.

Its so painful to watch that bed almost snapping in half. I would never drive behind you.

I'm going to start pulling over and pick up everyone I see that have found their way to the shoulder. I'll have more than any of ya'll in a month or so.

The motor in the Gator is in the back. Most of the weight is over the rear axel. It's an 800 mile round trip to Aspermont and back. I made that trip several times and got 12 MPG.

I buy about 20 a year. They get passed around to my guys and anyone that needs them. They have a strange way of never making it back.

This thread made me go check my toolbox. Seems I'm down to just 2 straps but they're heavy duty American made straps. Need to order at least 2 more.

Ratchet straps are like 7/16 and 9/16 sockets, MIA when you need any of them.

Yep. Thank you. That’s the term I was looking for.

I bought 4 more yesterday because I was down to 3. I have no idea how the numbers dwindle but they end up missing. Maybe it's mine that's being ran over on the highway.

Good collection C'man. Never can have too many straps!
