Picked up a new rifle stock for the 16.5" bbl 6.5CM. Shooting Hornady Whitetail 129gr and it's a tack driver. I think it'll make a great blind rifle.

ssshhhhhhh... 783's are terrible and inaccurate-- sell them all!

Here's another 16.5" bbl REM(model seven) in .308. It's ultralight & it'll be the tripod gun or if walking any distance. For some reason, it prefers Rem Core-Lokt 150gr over Hornady 178gr PH ELDX. Using the long can, I really like the shorter bbl better. Alway feel like I'm carrying a jousting stick with 22"ers.
