No 6.5 Creedmoor here and doubt I ever will have one. 2 6.5 Grendels, 6.5X54 MS, 6.5-284 and 264 Win Mag pretty much has me covered IMO for 6.5s.

Availability of ammo has never been much of a concern since I prefer good reloads. if good brass and components are available I can make ammo better than one can buy. Keep a stock pack on your hunting rifle with ammo in it and you will never leave your ammo at home and stand by that thing I can buy ammo anywhere for X gun.

Creedmoor is a good cartridge design but the shooting I do these days 300 yards max any of the medium 6.5 ballistics quad of 6.5X47 Lapua, 6.5 Creedmoor, 260 Remington and 6.55 Sweed are really interchangeable for what they can actually do for the most part. Best case design IMO goes to the Lapua, Longevity to the Sweed and current popularity to the Creedmoor. Those that say the Creedmoor is the best case design should try the Lapua and see how close it can come to the Creedmoor with careful handloads and generally beat the Creedmoor in consistency which is the name of the game for long range accuracy.
