Well, I guess Yankees own Whataburger now. I haven’t been to one since the change in ownership, so I can’t comment on any changes in food or whatever. A bunch of you fellows, and my wife, are (or were) big fans of the burgers and spicy catsup/ketchup. So...in your view is Whataburger still the same, or has anything changed other than ownership.

Braums > whatabugger.

Yeah, It's early. they'll probably make little, barely noticeable changes. Then one day, probably a year from now, we'll be eating a Whataburger and suddenly it will hit us that it is not the same. It'll be a sad day.

I prefer Freddy’s. But whataburger still a solid choice.

Haven't been since the ownership change, I only occasionally get a craving for a Whataburger. I do think they are probably the best fast food burger.

I won’t eat at one anymore. I ate at the one in Snyder, Decatur, and Wichita Falls in the last few months and all were terrible. I used to really like Whataburger. The one in Snyder was the worst. I don’t like big, cold, stale buns on anything.

It's still the same old Whataburger. Which is better than most fast food burgers.
I ate at a place in Austin called Sandy's. It is an old school drive up diner kind of place. I swear it tasted just like Whataburger, even smelled the same.I figured this was a big for Whataburger.

Had one for lunch today...no change noticed....YET!

Regardless of any genuine "change," some people are going to say bad things about Whataburger because of the sale.

I've never held it with any high regard. It's a fast food burger place. A Texas fixture - yes. A great burger place - no.

From my experience, they are hit or miss when it comes to performance.

Same here. Freddy’s is my favorite fast food burger, but their fries are meh. If Freddy’s had Krinkle cut fries it would be awesome. I’ll eat at most Whataburgers for breakfast and lunch or diner if it’s Whataburger in a small town. The small town Whataburgers seem to do a better job and they seem to take more pride in what they do.

I concur and the worst Whataburger I ever got was in Waco Texas. I emailed the company they sent me coupons for six free ones.

We had a bad experience at the Mont Belvieu store yesterday with granddaughter.
Gonna give them one more chance in case it was a fluke.
