Most likely going to carry this rifle this year in this configuration of 223ai pushing 80gr vld to 2906fps.
Rifle is a surgeon 591 that's been worked on a little, broughton #6 cut to 22 or 21", McMillan a3-5 with a premier heritage 3-15 on top. Could swap barrels on it and put the 22 creed, 6 creed or 7mm-08ai tubes on but they aren't as light and a bit long with the can. Pic is my oldest (10yrs old) just after shooting her first time at 500yds and going 5 for 5.

Unless I get an invite down south Iā€™m just gonna shoot my Ruger M77 in .270 when Iā€™m not bow hunting.

No suppressors, fancy scope, VLD bullets, or custom synthetic stock.

Itā€™s the epitome of a ā€œdeer rifleā€

I have a fn supreme from the late 40's early 50's build in good ole 30-06sprg. It still retains the horn buttplate but ironically is pretty darn heavy.

Hmmm, I don't guess that I can show my hunting rig, since it is not a rifle. The last several years I have been using my Ruger SuperRedhawk in a .454 Casull.

Luck favors the prepared mind.

Same here, exact same gun

50/50 between that and DPMS .308

May toss in the .450 Ruger American for a hunt or two

Wow....I know at 65 I'm old, but hunting rifles have sure changed....this year my favorites will be a Ruger M77 in .257 Roberts I bought in 1970, a Remmington Model 788 in .308 I bought brand new at Gibsons for $115 and a version of my old military rifle, a Springfield Armory M1A with a Bassett mount and a 12 x 50 Weaver Grand Slam....all the fancy stuff this old man needs.

to get in the picture game, this is the rifle I have hunted with so far this season, so I guess it qualifies.

Just air rifles. I just put a Vortek PG2 kit in my Diana 34P (top), and it is as smooth as butter. That's not an airgun scope on there, it's a cheap field and stream shotgun scope. But it is holding up well with the vortek kit, I think it will be fine.

Bottom is an HW35 Luxus that is at least 50 years old. It's a great air rifle though. Very accurate and shoots as smooth as silk. Not a tuned rifle, or even kitted, but you might think so if you used it!

I'll be hunting with these two this year. The primary will be the Bergara Ridge 6.5 Creedmoor, but I'm going to try to draw blood with the Winchester 94 too.
