Well decided to use the zodiac instead of the canoe - at least for the initial setup. 1200 lbs of bait set out on Saturday would have required at least two trips even with the big canoe and 4 miles each way would have meant 16 miles of paddling with 8 of those pretty loaded. Honey coated granola mixed with chocolate chips as much as I could take for a whopping $0.08/lb taxes in. Buddy and i took a trailer down and drove off with 5,000 lbs to split between 4 of us.
