So I tried the APH a long time ago but found it too crowded. I was debating trying it again. Has anyone had any good experiences for dove considering there usually isnt much water? Bad or just depends on day time and scouting like usually?

I've had good luck after the opener. Fields with water at dark and fields near grain in morning. Birds every 15 minutes or so.

No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

It's real hit or miss depending on the area of Texas you are in. They took some of the list this year so it will be more crowded

As mentioned expect a large crowd for the opener.

Well I am in the North and prob willing to drive to get some less populated areas. Been a struggle these last few years and was going to get a lease through a connection but had to send the kids to camp.

Cant walk as far, recovering from a ruptured Achilles.

Only other connection doesnt have water on his land and all the birds go to the property owners next door. frown
