This is 100% ground brisket patties that I grind myself. I like at least 20% fat in my burgers. I have added chopped onion and chopped deseeded jalapenos with sharp cheddar cheese. I do not season at all until I place on the grill or griddle. Seasoning with salt ahead of time will make the patties tough. I make ahead of time and place in the freezer till it gets firm to touch.Do Not over work the meat or it will be tough. If you want to try something new try this...…. I cook my bacon for the burgers in the oven @400 degrees for about 20 minutes. I take the patties out of the freezer when the bacon is done and spoon the bacon grease lightly over the patties. The grease solidifies very fast and will not run off of the patties since they are very cold. I season the patties at this time and put on the grill. You get a real bacon flavor. I`m not here for a long time... I`m here for a good time.
