Cool, but mossbergs are crap

I might be interested in that crossbow for my son.

BTW, I went online at TPWD to buy a license. All they list are the paid things. I couldn't add HIP for my son or find the crane permit. Guess I'll head to the store.

Mossberg makes an excellent shotgun. Don't pay any attention to the naysayers.

I guess some people can't stand to hunt with a gun that cost less than a grand.

I believe you can only get the crane permit via a phone order or at a TPWD office.

If you log in and it pulls up your info or suggestions the Crane and HIP cert shows up but not on the list to purchase.

Online, you can include the crane permit to your license

My most reliable shotgun is the 870 super magnum express pump bought in 1999, no plastic parts.
That thing still pumps like butter and went through over 50,000 rounds, i will never sell it. The latest 870 are plastic junk, but still work when you sandpaper them chamber

Let’s be realistic. I wouldn’t use excellent and Mossberg in the same breath. Maybe,”Decent?” Maybe not. I might hunt with one if they sponsored my season. I’d buy any working 50 year old pump before I’d buy a new mossberg.

The 870 Express models are built with less expensive parts. Find an older Wingmaster. New ones are high dollar, but every bit as good as the old ones.

EDIT: HIP Cert shows up if you add the Super Combo or the Migratory Stamp to your cart.

No rush to get it, let them work the kinks out first.

My first 12ga a mossberg, excellent gun!! Bought it 2003, never have cleaned it. I abused that gun so bad, it loves it. It’s a back up now, got SBE II in 2008, I abuse the hell out of that gun too!!

Same here. I feel bad how much abuse I put that gun through, since it cost me so much. lol
