Man sometimes us old guys have to figure out how to handle stuff when the old back just won't do it anymore. I had a couple this morning that just weren't within my abilities to lift. My old boat winch is doing what my old back just won't do anymore...

Most excellent solution! I just hook 'em up with a rope to the trailer hitch and drag 'em to the boneyard. Gave up on loading them into the P/U truck a few years ago when my back told me to stop the foolishness!!

Just gut shoot them and they run off!

I had a lot of people wanting pigs at one time....but they wanted legs and backstrap all cleaned up and ready to use. I have gotten tired of butchering the buggers for other people and just started dumping them at the bone pile. Sort of a situation like giving fish away when the folks just want the filets all ready to cook.

I had a deal where I cut out backstraps in exchange for a couple of donuts and a cup of coffee.(talk about cheap labor) Now I cut hind leg by the hamstring and drag them out with a cable I carry in my atv. The coyotes and vultures feast on them.

Some people have such a toxic and rancid personality that even death doesn't want them!

Now that's funny.....I was dropping off whole hogs to a local doughnut shop regularly for a while and the guy did his own butchering. Haven't been able to connect with him lately though. They would offer me doughnuts and stuff, but I would decline....watching the waistline!
