Realtree, Mossy oak, others?

What's the trick of the trade to getting the
right clothing for any particular dove hunt?

Just not that complicated. It’s really not. Just hold still you will be fine.

Yup....limiting movement is much more important than camo....

From my experience camo patterns do not really matter. I do recommend a drab earth tone, but the biggest thing is limit the amount of movement until you are ready to mount the gun. I’ve killed countless limits sitting on a bucket next to a white pickup truck. The truck wasn’t moving and neither was I. The past couple years we’ve used a pop-up tent as our shade and it works great. At one time Academy had camo or drab green pop-up tents.

Oh they make it. Full sunflowers on shirts/hats. The shirts look rediculous. One outfitter we were with had it for sale. He had 50 guys a day for a month straight so sold plenty I guess. Funniest hunt was some guys were wearing the vendor issued baby blue Columbia shirts given out as a gift before we hit the fields. They luckily scared all the birds to me for an easy limit. Hilarious watching them run around in those things.

Clothing really doesn’t matter to hunt doves. All you need is a good dove call and some dove scent and you should be good. up

Just make sure you stay upwind and don't get that scent on you.

If you think you need camo to kill doves you must be a very special person living the groupie hype.

-If I buy any more waterfowl hunting stuff this year I'll be eating cat food and crackers for dinner.

In the past a dark shirt and blue jeans. I'm trying out this pattern this year.

I agree 100%, but I don't like to wear my good t shirts at the lease. While hunting I'm always getting holes in my cloths on barbwire, mesquite, and stuff so I will often be in whatever Camos I have stored at the lease anyway. Just bought this one on ebay for only $8. banana2
