We have recently bought a place that has been in my family since the early 40's. We have been working to clean it up and increase the management on it so that it is a place we will be happy to pass on to our kids - they will be the 6th generation to be raised on the place.

Anyways - we have been fishing the many ponds to get an idea of what we have in terms of game fish. We were stoked when we hooked into this toad this evening. My daughter (2.5 yo) was in awe!!

He may have filleted that bass. She witnessed the whole thing and is in a witness protection situation.

To be honest, I was wondering the same thing.

Threw it back to catch another day - by her first reaction though you would've thought I filleted it right there!

Heckuva deal, congratulations. That's a great feeling on your own place. Well done.
