I remember watching them pile those up when they were building the lake. The brush piles put in by the Corps are massive.

when i lived in gainesville..whitesboro area used to coon hunt this land..it was corp lands way back in the 80's had to have a type II license..lots of coons..we held night hunts every weekend there..when the lake was first impounded is when i quit fishing sold my boat but before i did i fished it exclusivly..caught more sandbass..first time i had seen birds working that much..before i got my boat i was a bank fisherman..got an old tri sonic made in lake worth by roy rogers..as coon hunter we hated to see all the land dissappear
