Been wanting to try it. It's on the wrong side of the highway for me going home so I haven't ever stopped. We are down to nothing in my area now so I'm gonna pick up a rack of ribs, half pound of sliced beef and half pound of sausage this afternoon on my way home. I wish 407 would expand and put one in Gun Barrel City.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Drive by it a few times a week. Guess I’ll have to stop one day.

They were down to only a half rack of ribs when I got there so I got that and a half pound of sliced brisket. Both were very good. Also had green beans and a baked potato salad that was very good.
I didn't realize that is a two way service road so it was easier in and out than I thought. Very nice restaurant inside, very clean looking.
I'll be back.

Thanks for the review. We go out that way sometimes, may have to stop in.

How is it compared to 407 though? Good for 407 but bad for everyone else that’s kinda where the bar is set now.

How is it compared to 407 though? Good for 407 but bad for everyone else that’s kinda where the bar is set now. Sliced brisket was very tender and seasoned good. The ribs were perfectly cooked and seasoned up good too. Honestly in a blind taste test against 407 with no sauce on either, it would be hard for me to say which is better. But where it goes south is, the sauce is not anywhere near as good as 407. But, if I was to leave work, go to 407 and then home, it would take almost 4 hours to get home, this is on my way home and I have Stubbs and Sweet Baby Rays in the fridge at all times. I'll still go to 407 every chance i get.
