I brushed all filets with extra virgin olive oil top and bottom.
The filet on right I seasoned with sea salt, black pepper, and paprika.
The one on left the same , but also added a specialty crushed pepper blend.
I also did some with lemon pepper and herb seasoning.

My wife of over 30 years has told me repeatedly that she does not like fish. If we go to a seafood restaurant she always orders shrimp. Consequently I don't cook fish at home.

Over the weekend she let me make her a snapper fillet and a scallop for her to "try." After the meal she grudgingly admitted that fish aren't that bad.

I served the fish and scallops with baked zucchini strings, seasoned rice and toasted leftover home made biscuits.

Woohoo, I am making progress in changing her mind.

Had the same meal last night mbavo! Going to turn the leftover tilapia into fish tacos tonight with a cilantro cream sauce and some cabbage.

Never tried it. Cod is my go to.

Seems like a few years or decades ago tilapia was all the rage then kind of fell out of favor and now I hear many talk about it like it’s not fit to feed a dog. I’ve eaten tilapia as long as I can remember and never had a gripe with them or anyone I fed them too. I love the fact I can blowfish tilapia and have a good edible fish to take home and eat.
