This showed up on my camera. We don't hunt near a game ranch. What kind of sheep/goat is this? Is it a game animal?

It's an aoudad (aka Barbary sheep). It is considered a non-game species, but requires a license to hunt it.

Non-game exotic...need a hunting license but can hunt 24/7/365....

What kind of license? Regular hunting license or do I need to Add an exotic license to it?

If I had one show up while I was hunting, it would leave in the back of my truck. Good luck

Yup looks like a young ram. I've taken a few on our property in Edwards Co. A young ewe and a mature ram, we cooked the young ewe like cabrito and it wasn't bad at all. Gave the ram to an employee who used to ranch hand in that area and he steam cooked it in banana leaves & seasoned similar to a Mexican dish called Carne con chile colorado (Beef & Red Chile). It was fantastic! IMO, its all in the way it's prepared. Good luck connecting with em
