Coming back from my morning walk, the wife met me in the drive way and was upset that we had an unwelcome visitor in the living room. I removed him and then took it outside and then took this mug shot. My wife would be slinging lead at that thing! She takes the big old east texas wolf spiders pretty well now. The stinging lizard that she sat on caused quite a show though!

Years ago one walked out from under the TV after most of us had gone to bed. Mom was the only one still up and was not amused.

Those things, along with big centipedes, used to be thick on my place. Now, seeing them is rare. I recently saw a tarantula and a centipede at the house and got excited.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.
