There was a post going last year that talked about ideas for food at the ranch. Got some good ideas to mix things up so I figured I'd start another one to see if anything new comes up.
The first few years we were on our new ranch we would bring food to prepare and cook. We always ended up eating at midnight because there is always lots of work and/or hunting to do. I've started making my Sunday meals bigger and freezing the leftovers. Around lunchtime I put it in the crock pot or oven and it's ready whenever we come in. Saves lots of time and cleanup efforts.
Some things I've been bringing:
Pot Roast Beef Stew Chili Gumbo Green Chicken Chili Pulled Pork (make tacos or sandwiches) Smoked Brisket (make tacos or sandwiches) Red or White Beans and Rice Shrimp or Beef Stuffed Peppers

We grill all the time at our lease- mainly steaks, venison, and some pork chops. For veggies, we make foil packs. We always have a camp fire, and use the camp fire for cooking the foil packs on. They are easy clean up and you don't need a plate to eat them. Put some potatoes, onion, and carrots, seasoned with garlic, salt, pepper, and maybe some ranch powder. Some add spice to it, like Tabasco or Red Devil sauce. My brother likes some sausage in his also. Another foil pack is green beans, onion, and bacon, with garlic, salt, and pepper. You can put anything in it you want.
Crock pot cooking is also popular. Pork butts and stew are good. Plus it makes camp smell good!
Our favorite meal is breakfast! We have an electric griddle, and generally cook bacon and/or sausage, pan scramble some eggs, then warm tortillas with cheese on it for breakfast burritos. They are VERY good!

Sometimes if you are going to use the oven anyway for baked potatoes, its nice to have a pre-dinner snack for having with drinks. We actually make poppers ahead of time too. Stuff full of cream cheese and cheddar, and bacon bits. Put a couple dozen in a gal. zip-lock bag and freeze until needed.

Really like the pre-made popper idea! I'm gonna fold that one in to the routine.
When the kids come they like to fry some backstrap bites.
Cut backstrap into thin slices Dip in milk or egg Bread with crushed Ritz crackers mixed with seasoning Fry in oil
We eat it with crackers and pickled jalapenos.
Usually only do it when the kids are there because we make them cook um and clean up.

hobo dinners ... cook at home in oven, then warm up in oven, fire or grill at camp tamales ... frozen, then pop in microwave at camp, OR toss them over a camp fire to get a little smoke flavor for another level of awesomeness. sausage ... easy microwave, skillet, grill with some tortillas

Tamales on the camp fire sounds great. I get tamales made with my hogs. I'll need to wrestle some from the wife to bring to the camp.

yep blackberry dutch oven. My dad always had something in the pot over the fire and a cobbler on the side every hunting trip. He liked cooking more than huntin. Miss those days.
Early bow season, we have gone to pre prepared (frozen meals from the year) that we put on in crock pot or smoker early in the morning and all is ready when come in from evening hunt
turkey/dressing lasagna venison stew pork or bear loin with taters, onions, carrots vension hind quarter on smoker tamales enchiladas
After daylight savings time change, we do more grilling and mostly finishing off freezer game steaks and sausages (venison, elk, porky, black bear, axis and anything else).
gonna add the idea of premade poppers too

Anything 'Bob Evans' or similar that can be heated in the microwave. All kinds of side items.
Throw something on the grill and you have dinner in 20 minutes.

I think the crockpot is where it's at, as long as you have electricity.
I'd just put it in the crockpot on low first thing in the morning, and set it and forget it. I drive a truck- I don't keep a microwave. I have a crock pot and a rice cooker. Meat or beans in the crock pot, throw in some minute rice when it done and ten minutes later that rice soaks up all the deliciousness. In a hurry, forgot something, or just in the mood for something else- I also keep canned hormel and wolf brand chili and also ranch style beans. Rice in the rice cooker add chili or ranch style beans.
I put sriracha on literally everything.
I think it is awesome you have a camp set up to cook whole meals like that while you are doing your thing. But if you are eating at midnight, why not keep some cheap ready to go stuff on hand that lasts, that you can leave down there?
Rice, chili, beans, dinty more beef stew, etc

If you don't have electrical I bought the Can Cooker use it on propane camp stove fed 7 hunters. Corn on cob, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, onions, green/red peppers, sausage jalepno and cheese type. All types of recipes.

If you have a Blackstone or Camp Chef griddle or disc, I do fajitas one weekend and everyone favorite cheesesteaks! Get ribeye shaved by the butcher. Mushrooms, onions, peppers and ranch and cheese of course.

For quick meals, I often pre-make a 15 bean soup with venison sausage, various veggies, etc. Then I freeze that.
Let it thaw in the fridge at the ranch. About 20 mins before its time to eat, heat it all up slow and it's ready to go. Add rice from another pot that I've made and boom! Quick meal!
We do steaks one night each trip on an open fire...with baked potatoes and all the fixins.
We have also been getting Jimmy Johns day old bread and bringing a handful of those with us. Make a few big sandwiches and cut them up for everyone. Good for a quick fix with some chips.

When I go by myself it's typically steak and veggies every night, eggs and axis sausage for breakfast and skip lunch. When my aunt is there it's fried chicken and buttermilk pie, homemade biscuits and sausage gravy, dove gumbo, stuffed pork loin, and anything else she feels like whipping up. Oh and monkey bread. Always monkey bread.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Opas jalapeno cheese sausage, Deer summer sausage, backstraps/tenderloins, deer or hog smoked sauage. Breakfast we cook on a disc cooker. Have been using venison chorizo or hog breakfast sausage and eggs. Veggies we like, ranch style beans, Margaret Holmes green beans or Glory green beans and potatoes.
