Just wondering how many use game cams as part of their hunting/scouting arsenal... And if you don't mind sharing, which brand do you use, you may chose more than one? Thanks in advance for your input.

Do you use a gam cam?

I use 11 cameras to count deer every year for the last 10 years. I recommend some models of various brands. I am partial to browning as for battery use and so far longevity. I have about 20 total cameras I use at various times.

I put out a couple recently but only because it's a new lease and I have no idea what critters are calling it home.

Interesting that everyone uses them. Our club has them on feed stations, but I personally didn't start using one until last year.

I use Tasco. I'm cheap but they work pretty good.

6 Brownings and a handful of others until they die. Replacing all with Browning over time

I've used Browning, Bushnell, and Moultrie. Browning are solid and reliable. Bushnell takes the best pics but eats batteries. Bought the Moultrie so I could test out the field modem. I haven't deployed the modem yet (going this weekend) but the camera takes solid pics, doesn't take many 'phantom' pics, and the batteries last a while.

The only ones out of the group listed that I do not have or used are Spartan, Plotwatcher, Browning or Covert. I have a $35 Primos Truth cam that is 8 yrs old now and still taking pics. I have Bushnell cams that are 4 yrs old and SpyPoint cams that are 5 yrs old. Biggest problem I have had with anyone is from woodpeckers or coons breaking the sensor cover and rainfall/moisture getting to the cams.

7 Browning's and 2 Moultrie's. I'm considering getting one of the new Bushnell or Moultrie cellular cameras.

I have a reconyx. Iv had it for 5 years. Year 2 it started taking foggy looking night time pics. I called the company, talked to an actual human, they said send it in and they would fix it for free. They may be pricey but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if I needed it.

The brownings have worked for our group till the woodpeckers get them. They got two last weekend, someone needs to come up with a pecker proof camera.

Have a cheap camera name is Tracer I think. a fairly cheap Stealth Cam and a moderately priced Moultrie. Guess which one quit working and it is the newest? Give up, it is the Moultrie. Trying a Covert now and thinking Browning.
