The first time my son ever went hunting with me I spotted a few come out of the woods by the pond, 210 yards from the house/hog blind. The first few made it to the feeder and they were still coming out of the woods from the same place. I had never seen a line of em so long. There was an estimated 40-50 pigs under the feeder once they finally circled their wagons. Don't know that I've heard of a sounder over 100 in the states. We need radio controlled Bouncing Bettys.
Yeah, that's a lot of hogs! I've never come close to seeing that many, maybe 40 or so but not often. I typically see sounders of 10-25, with the larger groups being in the spring when there are a lot of little ones tagging along.
Even though we're clearly falling behind, keep up the good fight!
I've spent the last 4 winters in Texas. Made offers of $100 trespass fee to shoot hogs. Always get told $300-400 a NIGHT! I'm a retired, disabled vet. I've offered to leave my wallet with credit cards and the keys in my truck as collateral. Still $300-400 a night. As far as I'm concerned I hope the hogs destroy everything.

And yet, they are so bad we need to poison them, right?
We have seen a group of 100 or more in Eastland Co this month. 50 to 60 adults plus to many little ones to count. They are across the county road on another place. We are planning on an apocalypse when they eventually come to visit.
