Cool. Hope there is duck habitat that we can hunt.
No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

Wow, two new lakes for Fannin. Where I started my hunting career. Not much big body water then except some conservation lakes.

I wonder what effect these two lakes will have on the construction of the Marvin Nichols Lake?

You are correct in that Dallas big money was the base that was pushing the lake.

I'd say it will take pressure off of some of the closer lakes....or maybe just bring in more hunters so they all stay crowded

As population grows, good thing hunting spots grow too or it would get stupidly crowded. We just need duck population for grow as well, but even with duck population the same or even decreasing, give me more hunting options to get away from Barney.

I shouldn't have to tell you guys this stuff, rookies...

Very true. When you are on the water dark 30 looking for a spot, and get flashed, "flash...flash flash..flash"... Translation, "Go Away Barney".

Its all part of the game and challenge, it wouldn't be any fun if you didn't have Barney to beat.

And all this time I thought you were flashing the light at me to get me to come hunt next to you, like you had seen plenty of birds and it would be okay, even if I don't have decoys...or camo stuff...as long as I have my new duck call...why oh why didn't this forum exist 52 years ago when I first started this nonsense...
