Deer on right was killed a few years ago - scored 194. Named him Crip (he had a bad knee all his life)

The one on the left was killed last season - scored 185. Named him Crip Jr. for obvious reasons.


We let our good bucks get mature before we take them - 6.5 to 8.5 years old on average. Due to this I think our better bucks pass their traits on - Low fence

Those two are gorgeous, and definitely related!

You can see traits in your buck lines most places. I don't have pics with me, but I killed two bucks on our place 22 years apart with markedly similar racks (several acorn points, wider than our avg, long dog catchers, short beams).
