I went to the Kerrville Gun Show today and guess what followed me home:

[Linked Image]

A Rossi R92 in 44 Rem Mag, aka, THED; Trapped Hog Elimination Device. This little feller will transport easily in truck or ATV and put some serious whupass on any of the piggies that get captured in my traps. It could also be used on free range porkers as well. I'm thinkin' I might come to love this handy-sized little rifle.

I had one like it that would not stabilize mid range handloads say a 240 gr. Bullet at 1000 fps. Since this was what I primarily wanted to use I traded for one just like it in 45 Colt and problem solved as it shoots full power and mild cowboy loads as good as you could ask. That said the 44 mag was an older Rossi and it's finish/fit was much nicer.
