Low fence ........

We killed the first deer in 2015 after watching him for 4 years. 194 inches and 43 inches of mass.

Second deer is still alive on our ranch

Think they may be related ? LOL

No kidding. Beautiful deer. I'd keep him around for a few more years.

One of our neighbors showed me a picture of a deer his dad shot in the mid 80's off their place. We had a deer on camera that he was able to shoot 2 years ago. Those deer look nearly identical in pictures including drop tines and kickers.

If he gave me the opportunity I could address that 'alive' problem he's got! Great bucks, tlk!

Im sure tlk will address that question, but- great natural genetics in area, lot of food for generations, and age. No new magic formula, its just very very hard to pull off, but hes done it.
Ill go a little farther than that. Ive followed his posts on here over the years although I don't have a dog in the fight. Tlk may not want to brag on the place him self so ill do it for him. Big place with great owners and great natural genetics and habitat. Lots of well thought out rules that a great group of guys that evidently all buy into and the rules are enforced. Of course the rules are based on a hunter density ratio that's able to sustain the age structure(quitshootingyoungbucks). Im not saying that there aren't other ranches just as good or better, but its a short list, hes not scared to post, and hes one of our own on here. Keep it up tlk, you set the top bar for all of us, IMO.

Take a DNA sample of each and send them to NADR. They can tell you for sure
