I'd be a lot more comfortable on a 8N with a 2 bottom plow.

My kind of fun right there, Sir!

Did you have to stand up on the clutch pedal and push against something like I did in the Minneapolis Moline?

Cheers,

no, the case had a hand clutch, I did have to sit on the fender to see, sitting in the seat, I couldn't see where to steer, I would slid down to make the turns, if the dust wasn't bad enough, the flying ants were a pain, before we had hydraulics, used the levers that I couldn't handle, dad would have to lower & raise for me.

maybe some of you remember when I attended my family reunion in Rhode Island, doing all the research, over 90% of forefathers ect were farmers [Linked Image]
this is the ancestral cemetery, sits in the middle of the farm that Thomas Lillibridge owned (1662-1724) only LILLIBRIDGE buried there with two of his slaves, and I am not going to apologize for that

Was raised on a dairy farm. Drove everything from peddle tractors as a kid, on up to tractors like in the pic. Have not found one yet I couldn’t work on or drive. Still have three tractors myself for my little north Texas hay farm operation. up

those would have difficulty turning around on the farm fields but that would not have really mattered they would also not fit through the gates or bridge across the creek.

Farming 50 years ago was a lot different than most is now at least around where I grew up.
