I use a waterproof 10 x40

No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

10x Vortex. They are my elk, deer and waterfowl bino's. They are not quite as good as the "big three" but they are about as close as you can get without spending big three money. I got them 5 years ago for a thousand bucks.

I use my Swaro 10x42's for just about everything. The Vortex Razor HD's are pretty solid, especially for their price point, but there plenty of other forums once you start chasing that rabbit. I just picked up a Vortex Razor HD 65mm spotting scope that I plan on using for some scouting this year.
