Some people are saying it will start just over $60k, that's hard to believe.

They said they will start under 60k, about where they are now on base. It sure will turn off traditionalist, but that is one sexy vette imo, for far less than the price it clones.

I'm not a car guy by any means but I kind of like it.

I'd take a Ford GT any day over that.

A base model that goes zero-60 in under 3 seconds and starts under 60K. Breathtaking American Engineering! You would have to spend an additional 75k minimum to get a factory vehicle with that speed. I cant wait to see what the road test and track test numbers are and I would bet money that several Italian manufacturers might be sweating over the performance numbers.

Performance and price are winners. But it looks like three different teams that never talked to each other designed the front, middle, and rear.

The Ford GT is a race car that's street legal and is actually not a good GT car. The c8 is a street car and an actual GT car that you could track.

Bill, everyone looks silly in a car like that, has nothing to do with age.

Some folks enjoy life and just don't care how other folks perceive them.

I wonder if B&W will make a gooseneck hitch for it, completely worthless without that and some rear airbags to support the weight. Gonna need a lift kit too just to drive down a gravel road or cross a cattle guard.

I would prefer a 60's muscle car. Any of them, Ford, Chevy or Mopar. Mustang, a Camaro SS or Challenger, more practical, even I could work on it without a manual or a computer.
