Need to take the Kubota RTV900 to the dealer. Running a bit hot, and I think the radiator needs cleaning (and I dont want to do it). Well, then I noticed that my trailer flooring is rotten. And the tires need replacing, and the lights dont work. Gee whiz. Took it to a local trailer guy. Ill get new wheel bearings too. So...what the trailer guy asked was fix everything but the paint job, I guess? Yup, I guess so. Scared to think what the tab is gonna be. Its only money, I suppose. Still wondering how to splain this to the wife. Suggestions are welcome.

Tell her it was a safety issue and that you want her to enjoy your company a few more years....

Mine would probably prefer a life insurance settlement..... cheerleader

Small increments work for me. Do your wheel bearings every few years. Do your floor before it falls apart. Keep your lights in good order checking them often.
But...I had a trailer repair/restoration business for a few years and i like the guys that bring them in needing everything. smile

Sounds like when you have the conversation with her you should ask for your stones back first confused2

Tell her "it is my trailer and my money and I will spend it like I want." Then run like hell to the camper, plug it in and lock the door. Tightly.

Better to get it painted now, instead of repairs, just tell you traded for a better one, Get it painted to match the tractor, next stop the body shop t repaint the pickup tp match the trailer and tractor. up

Great question.

Just jack it up and run a new one underneath it.

Just be glad you found a guy that'll do decent trailer repairs.

We discussed estimated cost, and Im Ok with it. He comes highly recommended. Says Ill have it back late next week. Honestly, Im happy I found a competent one-stop shop.

I had a record hay crop this time, and the profit will cover the trailer repair cost.
