I assume that the majority of Axis does are fawning now as are the Hinds calving. When will the fawns and calves be old enough to be able to live on their own? in other words when will the does and hinds be ok to hunt? capt david

I have just such a hunt May 24-26th. We will be near Corpus Christi for two days and near San Antonio for 2 days. Few spots left but $550 Red Hind and $350 Axis doe in Corpus and $550 in San Antonio. San Antonio includes lodging and some food.

Is it to late to find a hunt such as this? I'm a novice hunter from Georgia. Would be driving to Texas. Would love an opportunity to harvest 2 or 3 hinds plus a fallow doe.

I have both and can accommodate you in South Texas. If you'll be down by Corpus Christi or San Antonio PM me.
