What is in my shop doing this in y’alls opinion?

I considered possum but the 4 toes in the print threw me off since they have 5. Coons have 5 too. Possum is def possible though

Possum, might be a skunk but I'm sure you would smell it. Or even a weasel? Not likely

That last print says all possum to me, been dealing with young ones here all Spring.. Most of the pressure they place on the front 4 toes judging the ones I see go after the cat food leaving prints like that all over the place.

And I have a 5 gallon bucket of cat food in the shop with the lid just laying on the top of the bucket so he could easily nudge it off. I also put a can of spam on a paper plate to see if it would get eaten and it wasn’t touched. Only eats the fresh eggs and pisses in the sink and has eaten some corners off of egg crates (foam)

It's a possum. Just put a live trap in there an be done with it.

Use a banana, or other fruit, quick on a possum, but almost anything will work

They also like Female Possums.

Bait the live trap with eggs....after all that's what he's en getting into.

Nope, you are dead wrong, it's the Loch Ness monster

They really like meat, like left over chicken and such. But they like to reach into the trap and grab the bait from the side and not go in, so set it up so they can't get around it but need to use the door. Cover the trap if you need to with a towel or misc. items to block their ability to reach the bait except from the front.

We used to have a possum that would come around late at night and finish off the cat food but it was running late a while back and was making its way back to wherever it spent the day after I had let our dog out about 5 one morning and she put an end to it.

My wife had one she was feeding off the back porch…..

No luck with tuna and bananas but he was active last night. He knocked some stuff off my work bench and took a big dump in the sink again. Cameras were set up on the sink and it got pics of me leaving the shop last night and entering the shop this morning but nothing of the critter.

In the last week my folks caught 6 raccoons, an armadillo, and one possum. The live in town.
