Arlo sucks unless you like changing batteries.

I currently use a 4-camera Arlo system at my home. I have to charge each camera once every month or two, depending on the amount of traffic near the camera. Mine are mounted on the magnetic ball mount that comes with them; therefore, they are easy to take down and put back up. Let me know if you have any specific questions and I will do my best to answer them.

I run the Ring Video Doorbell Prol and Spotlight Solar Cam (never change battery). Both attached to one of their Chime Pro's. We're very happy with it.

Their community feature is pretty cool, you set your radius around your house and you can view other's videos of crime or suspicious people that they post.

Pretty trippy to watch a guy in a hoodie and mask come up to a neighbors house only a quarter mile away and cover the ring doorbell up. Makes you remember crazy home invasions happen all the time even in our small community.

We use Ring cameras as well and have been very happy with them.

Blink's are on the Amazon Prime deals or they were yesterday and have a 2 year battery life.

I have a Nest front door camera and cameras at internal entries. Been looking at getting something good for the perimeter. Just haven't pulled the string on the Blink's....might go Nest to keep them on the same app. The biggest difference when I was deciding between Ring and Nest was the Nest can tell between motion and people...so I don't get notified every time a lizard or mosquito flies across close to the camera.

x100. Bought 5-6 of them and returned them all when the batteries wouldn't last more than about 2-3 weeks.

I'll never get a battery system again.

The ring flood light cameras suck easy setup and that’s it reliability no way 3am this morning I got the alarm it was two stray cats 8am a squirrel but when I left for work at 6am I walked past that same camera it didn’t activate not even my car pulling out of the driveway

I've got a Ring spotlight cam in my driveway, and I like it a lot.I called tech support when I set it up and they dialed into it and got the settings perfect for me. Neighbor cats, bugs, people driving down the alley... none of that stuff sets it off, but the moment someone steps onto my driveway they're being recorded.

Sounds like some of y'all need to work on your settings. It's not a 'turn it on and let it run' type of system. Call Ring up, they've been really helpful to work with.

If the camera picked up a cat and a squirrel there’s absolutely no reason why It shouldn’t have picked up a person and a vehicle moving it just didn’t activate . Last week on the neighborhood ring app Someone started a thread about their car getting broken into and the floodlight can did not activate . Needless to say after a hour with 45 hits with other people talking about their cameras not activating all the time ring took down the thread like I said easy to use yes 100 percent reliability no way
