I need to lose 25 lbs but have very little discipline over the fork & knife laugh
So I try and do extra things in to offset the lack of discipline. walk at least 1.8 miles every am with the hound then do a lot of walking on the job and various forms of light weight lifting.

My lower back started barking a little about 4 months ago so I started doing more stretching and added this twist to my light weight lifting.

Do you do anything outside the norm?

I do 3 sets of 15 on the bench starting with 25 lb dumbbells, then 35 then back to 25 and started doing leg lifts about 3 weeks ago while doing them. At first my lower back was going snap, crackle and pop but after 3 weeks of doing this there is very little noise coming from the backside.

I know its an ugly sight but ......

Good for you. The weights and walking did wonders for mine. But I really believe in doing beginners yoga. I searched for it on youtube. It friggin kills me, and I hate the crap out of it, but it has probably made a bigger difference over the past six months. I need to do it more but I really only do it several times per week. I feel a heck of a lot better when I do it.

Searching the world over for the perfect Chile Relleno.
