Let's do it. It'll be a fun experiment, and the best part is, we won't hardly have to repaint any targets.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.

I'll still clean it. Hell no. We're taking it all the way to 800. A bunch of these dudes are rocking big magnums. Not the Trojan ones, of course.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.

Duplex with a dial? I’m in! I can't allow dialing in a hunting scenario. Unless you have a Leupold. Then the turret clicks will be way too mushy to alert any animals.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.

At one time I ould have been ready to be all over this. in the 1990s I often shot to 600 with a 3-9X40 Duplex, a friend managed a ranch in Lampassas County with a box canyon on it. For winconditions shoot from the 70 acre hay field that joined the canyon. . Long out of practice now days
Jason, I do not blame you for not hosting this type of event
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

I'll just use the Max Point Blank range method. I'll clean it easy that way.

Your idea, you do it.
I kind of like being able to show up just before the match, and shoot, just like everyone else.
Kyle spoilt me.

I'm good to 500 with a duplex reticle. But I'm using the reticle as a BDC reticle from known holds. But it certainly is not as accurate. My original thought was that the hunting rifle challenge be a true "hunting" rifle and not the tactical style rifles. We could do one of those and restrict the scope for this match, as a thought???

It's a .243, I'll zero it for 234.7 yards and I should be good out to 521.8 right?
