Does it take as long to buy additional suppressors as it does the first one. First one should arrive in Oct. IF i want a second one for a .22, will it take another 9-12 months?

If i buy one now and start paperwork again, would it slow the first one up, or am I better off just waiting until the first one is in my hands?

Each one is a completely separate transaction. A new purchase wont delay the old one.

If you go to a Silencer Shop kiosk and get your picture and prints Livescanned, you never have to mess with it again. Anytime after that just go to their site, put the item in your cart, pay and electronically sign the next day. They handle everything else.

do you need one for each gun? I bought the Omega .22-30 cal. This is what I'm doing, buy 1 Omega Titanium .30 cal for all rifles. Just takes a second to swap. Especially with one of Steve's great covers. may order the new sectioned suppressor for my rimfires.

I bought a .30 cal Crux Ark Neo from TXGunner last December for all my long rifle needs, and decided today that I might as well start the waiting process on a Thunder Beast Take Down 22 for rimfire. I purchased this one from Silencer Shop online with Bauer Precision in Denton as the dealer. That process was super efficient and easy!
One thing that Brandon at Bauer Precision told me that I had not heard before was after the government shutdown in January, that in order to try to catch up a little, the ATF started doing a quick backlog search when they approve a tax stamp to see if there are any others in the backlog for the same individual or trust. If they find a match, they’ll just approve them at the same time in one batch. He said he’s seen it several times, some approved in as little as 2 - 4 months because they approved them with others that the person started in the process earlier.
Anyone else heard this? It gives me hope I might have both by the end of the year!
