Picked up my new CZ457 in .22LR blued, walnut stock, varmint last week and the Tally Low rings came in yesterday I topped it with a Nikon 2X7X32 Matte MK1-MOA scope. Unlike the 452's or 455's the 457 has a different bolt design with a lower bolt throw (see pictures).
I went with the Tally low rings and the scope end and eye piece clear without any issue (high rings are not needed for this scope). The tally rings have a straight side unlike the Leupold. If using the Leupold rings you are limited to placing the back ring in front of the bolt due to how the ring flares/bells out on the bottom interfering with the bolt throw.
The barrel is free floated also.
The trigger is completely different from the 452 and 455. In these models you could drop the trigger, change the spring for a lighter trigger pull. No so on the 457.
Gonna be shooting this afternoon, can't wait!

I try to rotate pictures using the option when posting but nothing happens.

Nice looking rig! Just got one myself in pro varmint. Scope I'm using has a 44mm bell so I will probably need to go with mediums correct?

Edit: All they offer are low or high.

I'll I can commit is the Leopold rings are lower than the Talley rings. You might order a couple different ones and see what works best..

BF I have 2 of the Nosler bullet boards from the 70's and have protected them both by making shadow boxes for both.
I love all the vintage stuff.

What did you do to your trigger? I looked at it but left alone there are 3 screws to mess with.

In the back of the manual there is a diagram of which screw does what. I thought the pre and post take up was pretty good so I only lowered the pull weight. I’m not certain what I got it set to but I would guess it is just under 3 pounds.

Group posted is 10 shots at 50 yards. Lapua Center X ammo, averaging 1046 FPS. Action screws tightened to 33 in/pounds. I’ve tried a dozen or so different bullets. Eley Target shot almost as good.

Here is the range report
Got it on paper at 25 yards, then moved to 50 yards wind was stiff from right to left. Started shooting CCI Velocitor 40 gr. results were marginal. Started shooting CCI Mini Mags' 36 gr. and had the best results.
The trigger is awful and needs adjusted down to 2 lbs, very stiff. This is my next project for this rifle.
As you can see from the 5 shot groups at 50 yards this one is a keeper.
