Dove hunts on smaller tract over cultivated BOSS (black oil sunflower seed) field that was actually cultivated & planted by the people running these hunts.

Near LaCoste, Texas just inside SW Medina county.

10 hunters maximum on any hunt. Supervised hunts.

$75 per half day.

Field continues to progress beautifully, some heads are almost the size of dinner plates. Massive for dryland field.

Pictures from July 18th show how good the field is coming along. Head turn down is about complete.

Opening days of SWWS has a couple spots available, same with 7th & 8th.

Field will be awesome come dove season, now just need birds & hunters!!!!

30 minutes from downtown SA, easy to get to & get home

$75 per half day, $100 if want to hunt morning & afternoon.

Field continues to look great. Have some spots for SWWS but not many.

Birds are roaming and looking for fields in the area. Things are looking good.

$75 afternoon, $100 full day on south zone season.

Saturday's SWWS hunt was pretty good, Sunday was poor for WW. Lots & lots of mourning dove coming to field.

Opening day, 14th is Full. We'll hunt the 17th or 18th, (17th most likely, 3 spots reserved) 21st, (no spots reserved yet), 24th, & 28th for September. Have spots for 24th & 28th

Expect a 75% mourn-25% WW ratio on open hunts. every hunt has seen &/or killed Asian collared dove.

September is going to be good, October will be outstanding as birds move south & crops get eaten up.

Sept 28th hunt was a good one, lots of dove.

Hunting Sunday Oct 6th evening hunt. Friday, 4th scouting saw continued lots of dove. Expect these fronts to push a lot of dove into the field.

Have spots available on October 6th, October 12th is full, 19th-20th weekend is open.

5 person limit of mourning dove (one was a self imposed 11 bird limit) in under 2 hours Saturday October 26th afternoon hunt. Only reason 2 hours to limit was the shooting skills.

Absolutely ridiculous number of birds in and coming to the field. Near LaCoste less than 30 minutes from downtown SA.

Hunting last day Nov 3rd afternoon $75 a gun. Have a few spots available

Can't but expect the bird numbers to continue to be outstanding with as much sunflower we have on the stalk and knocked down. Field has been rested since last hunt.

Had 4 hunters for the last afternoon of the first split season Sunday Nov 3rd.

4 hunter limit included a few WW, (a bit surprising for November). Hunters saw 3-4 collared asian doves but the hunters were not sure they were doves & didn't shoot.

Longest a hunter took to limit was under 3 hours. Unbelievable number of birds.

We expect the second split Dec 20th-Jan 23rd) to be on fire with birds.

$75 a gun, we max at 10 hunters per hunt.

Several days second split are booked or close to being full.

Holler want to get on some fantastic second season dove hunting.
