I've been frustrated with 22 stuff as well. When you're used to accurate bolt action centerfire rifles, 22s can be hard to tolerate. Damn right.

In a .22 LR match you oughta' be able to buy a mulligan.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

OK, thanks, good info since CCI SV is working for me. What type of gun? My issue may have been specific to the tight chamber in my Green Mountain barrel.

In a .22 LR match you oughta' be able to buy a mulligan. I second that, and was thinking the same thing yesterday at the range shooting my 10/22. I always wonder where the first shots are going to go, like a first drive on the tee.....the Wolf is more predictable on the first shot but the Aguila is anyone's guess but after the first shot in a new mag 2-10 group very nice at 50.

I finally have a decent shooting .22 LR. It's a 33 year old Marlin Model 60 with a 22" barrel. Last weekend I put Warne rings and a decent scope on it. Shot CCI ammo and was still getting a flyer about every 10 rounds.

That target sure looks like 100 yards for center target and 25 for the others....by the same person.

Marlin bolt rim fires have always been good.
